Magical Garden’s Teacher and Owner, Lori Callies, has been a credentialed teacher in the public schools for 20 years. She has taught in the Waldorf-Inspired schools for the last 5 years, in Marin and Sacramento. Most recently, she was the kindergarten teacher in the Waldorf-Inspired Program at Lagunitas for 2 years.

Lori’s educational background includes: a B.A. in Liberal Studies (SFSU), a Multiple Subjects Credential (HSU), A Learning Handicapped Specialist Credential (SFSU), A Cross-cultural Learning Certificate (UCD), Waldorf trainings (RSC), 18 Early Childhood Education college units, CPR, Pediatric First Aid, & Lifescan clearance.

She is a native of Marin and a mom.

Assja Stefanek, our Eurythmy teacher, graduated from the Waldorf schools of Switzerland. She finished her Eurythmy training in 1978. She specializes in preschool and kindergarten Eurythmy. Assja has an MA in Psychology (JFK Univ.) She teaches flute, leads children's birthday parties and gives Eurythmy workshops for adults. She can be reached at (415) 488-1366.
